Fisheye installation update

Over the weekend I updated the Fisheye installation that allows browsing all my public source code repositories via web (www.soft-gems.net:8080). You can also reach that by the link named "SVN Webinterface" on the left side. All visual and most non-visual components are in the library repository. Let me know if you see a problem with the new installation.

UPDATE: Fisheye eats lots of system resources so I had to shut it down for now. I'll see if I can make it less hungry but just for online browsing of the repositories it simply uses too much. If you want you can still access the repositories via an svn client (like TortoiseSVN) using svn://www.soft-gems.net.

UPDATE 2: Well, Fisheye is back for now. I had to remove a project with many files (help file generation) so it would not take up so much memory and consume all available CPU power over long periods. Let's see how that works out.

"Sun meets MySQL" video available

I had the pleasure to attend the meeting where it was announced to us MySQLers that Sun would buy our company. I brought my video camera to Orlando for certain events there, so I was able to take a movie from Jonathan Schwartz' welcome speech. After getting the proper permissions for publishing that video (after all it was an internal meeting of MySQL) I put it on Youtube.

Since Youtube videos are low resolution and my camera can do much better than that I also uploaded a 720p video to my homepage (actually, the video is 1080i, but I used a scale-down to 720p for Youtube). You can download it here (mp4, 3:40 min, 41 MB)
